Okay, okay! I got a killer deal, (IMO) on ceramic headers for $220! A week later I contacted them because I inquired about a track number. Today, I get the e-mail that they refunded me because they are on an extreme backorder! I wait a week, and NO header! So, does anyone know a place that sells 'em for about this cheap?

EDIT: SON OF A GUN! Hopefully there is no backorder on this site! I just googled it. $10 more and you got some nice headers!

Take advantage of this! lol... Free shipping!

Its nice that you were thinking of me, lol! Sorry grav, I'm too poor to afford a $400 header.

I decided that I was'nt going to wait a 3 week backorder for ceramic coat. I ended up buying a painted header, 40 series flowmaster muffler and a magnaflow cat for the price of the ceramic header! I think I just ran a bargain deal!

Haha, and I have emissions here... What 'am I doing to myself?

Lol! Sound clips... I can try... Although, I recall other people already have the same exhaust setup on here...

I wanted to get the Hushpower 2 they had, but it was too expensive for me to consider it! It definitely sounded way meaner...

I was told the headers had high temp. spray on them. They said they also offer a 3 year warranty. So I guess I'll be sending them back, quit a bit! I've got no alternative, except armor coat. I dunno how much longer I have on my cats and I believe its the reason to my bad gas mileage!

Talked to a sales person as well, and he said just to wrap them... Eh, I'm thinking of sand blasting it at school and doing something...

...anyways, we'll see!

the paint on them is actually pretty crappy, mine had drips galore and wan't a very even finish.

i had mine bead blasted, acid dipped, and painted with plasticote black header paint, then had the powder coat shop bake it for a couple days at like 450 degrees.

i am thinin of getting a hushpower, but i love the sound of a 40 series.

I've been told powdercoating sucks just as bad as paint... Could be wrong, though.

How does that plasticote paint work for you so far? What is it? Would doing a bake at 180 be good enough?

I dunno about header wraps, lol. I've never used them and I dunno why they would have them in the first place if it caused headers to fail?

I think the hushpower 2 sounded really nice! But then again I'm sure they had it on a V8... They have them on e-bay for $120 plus shipping I believe. I just cant wait for an exhaust that will make this truck breathe!

Anyways, my teachers might have some product they have dealt with for header paint. If anything, I'm going to see about getting it rhino-lined? I'm not sure if it would stand up to the temp. though...
