how much firewall tubbin is needed?

im not completely inept but i havent really been able to look at what i would need to do, my back has been effed up for about 3 months and just got the injections to fix that shit liek a week ago so that is whats up with all my questions

didnt tub the firewall at all onmine.. just had to move the elec junction block thing inside the cab and make a filler panel to fill the hole


now if you are plannin on runnin 22s then ya will have to mut im not for sure how much... lock would be able to tell ya on that for sure.

On my 2000 the ac compressor hit the hood, I had to lower it quite a bit, I can't remember how much though, The black box on top of the throttle body, I removed and just plugged the hole with a pvc cap that fit the hole.

Crossmembers on the 4x2 frame won't help much unless they run lengthwise with the frame rails, take a wood 2x4x8 and lay it up right across something, stand on it, then do the same laying it down, same principal just your truck doing it going down the highway.

If you want to door it later, do the frame the right way then do a traditional on the cab for the rest of it, without rockers your cab is going to be able flex easier as well and if your frame is not solid you will have problems.
