most of them are a bunch of jackasses.
i went to a local show once and didnt know it was mostly old farts holding it. the flyer said,"all custom vehicles welcome" so a good many of us went, about 20 trucks. we was promptly sent to the back corner of the show area and you could see the looks as we rolled in. come time for the judging and you could see the judges just walk up , look inside and was gone in a flash. when awards time rolled around there was like a top 50 is all there was and there was maybe 60 cars total including us mini trucks. awards was called and not a single truck was given a trophy, so of course some of us having big mouths loudly vocalized our opinions. we were met with a reply of the local old fucker that was in charge with this statement. it still rings in my head." we understand that some people are upset about a certain group of vehicles not winning anything, well we can do that. its our show."

There are jackasses in every car enthusiast arena, ie imports, minis, rodders. I have both a mini truck and an import and have friends with rods, so I am not biased. A badass ride is a badass ride no matter what it is. Some of you hate imports, but some have a lot of time into them. Same with trucks. I put a lot of time into my rides, some people are ignorant and stuck in thier ways. Besides I see plenty of people on here ragging on imports and vice versa. what does it matter? Although I am a minitrucker at heart, I still appreciate other rides. Some people won't give you the time of day at a show, or tell you how they did a certain mod. Fu$k them. You will figure it out eventually.

All in all there are cool people out there, you just have to find them. Ever heard of "Mickey Galloway" well he was a judge in a local "Hotrod" show where our club invited Twisted and a bunch of other clubs to come check it out. Dan brought his Sportrac and they gave him a truck award over all the hotrod trucks. He also gave my wife's Mini-inspired Karmann Ghia the "under construction award" Some "hotrodders" are dicks but you have to say fuck it, because there might be one out there you can learn a thing or two from. They came from another generation where "cool" is some other idea we could'nt care less about
