Hot rodding is not a dying hobby, Here in Florida Daytona Turkey Rod Run is 5 times the size of Blooddrag and Slamfest together, I attend all three. As far as the motor goes the flathead V8 is a very cool motor and i am into hot rodding and the idea of using it in a mazda seems fine to me, would be cool.

Ever try to go to a local show with your freshly bagged/primered and frame laying fullsize; only to get pointed to the parking lot instead of the show area. The show area consisted of bone stock 80's camaros and jc whitney'd to the max square body s-10's. I was pretty pissed, but when i aired out in the parking lot, quite a few people asked me why i wasnt in the show, and i pointed to the 60's something hair slicked back "restore to original" douchebag.

Thats the way it is here, Devin can stick his truck in the local car show and not even get top 50, yet come down to the states and win best of show, you guys would laugh if u saw some of the shows that go on up here
