my frame too is coated.. i'm just too scared i guess to drag balls.. blocks are fine, i feel safe with those.. it's just balls have the necks that aren't as wide as the end, so i feel like they could easily be torn off. just don't want to hit anyone beside me, or have a ball break and let it bounce nto the oncoming lanes someone from oncoming traffic get it. you know?

dragging frame to me is stupid. Buying 30$ drag blocks every week sounds stupid to me too. I have made a really nice drag bar with balls on both sides, before I took off down the road I tested it at 10-25-50 and 65. Good welding and smart thinking can make them secure.

HOWEVER I had drag blocks at the draggin nationals this weekend and insted of letting the ass down and throwing shit loads of spark I drug my fuking rocker showing biatchs I'm not scared to redo my whole truck if need to be. SO if people hate show them you arent scared to do it their way to!!!

haha...mine is plated 1/4" also. dragging is over rated in general.

I accidently dragged mine 2 days ago. I had a air line break, so I drug my ass for about 7 miles before getting home!!!!

So for you "ball dragger's". You would rather take the risk and try and replace an irreplaceable & priceless person then try and replace a repairable and replaceable part on your truck. Do I understand that correctly?
