On the timing light, I think so, I don't have a fancy digital one, they actually don't work right on a lot of the outboards.

If I remember right you changed the impellor, where there any of the blades missing? If there were it is not uncommon for them to plug up somewhere. Just follow the lines and look for places that stuff can get stuck.

Okay looking back at your pics(my monitor really sucks so it's hard to tell much). I would pull the hose off right after the water pump and see what you are getting for water flow there, if it is good there you know the water pump is working good. When hooked up to a flusher the water pressure will usually make up for a poor cooling system so it is kinda weird it is doing it on a flusher. That really makes me think a blockage. I wouldn't blow through it with compressed air till I took as many hoses apart and checked for blockages, you may blow something somewhere you can't get it out.

Indeed, thanks again, Someone on a boat forum mentioned 6 degree btdc for the timing, hmm.. Anywho. Im actually thinking my exhaust manifold is on backwards/upside down somehow?? Check out my pic...
thread post photo

Mine comes out from the front of the engine, Someone made an elbow for the exhaust...
In the manual which can be downloaded here..
It shows on the cooling system my exhaust should be exiting the rear of the engine... Out of curiousity I went onto google images looked up my engine code AQ130C and came up with someone elses engine shot, and it is exiting the rear..

Disregard the water filter as its not standard and I dont have one. But notice no elbow from the exhaust on the front of the engine... Im heading over to my boat here in a few and am gonna check it out, I check the scene on my phone so please still reply with thoughts

My monitor is just so bad I can't hardly see anything, I really need to get it replace. From my manual looks like it comes off the pump, runs to about the middle of the block into an oil cooler, than comes out of the oil cooler and goes up into the manifold towards the middle of the manifold, then a pipe comes out and run up to the thermostat housing, then out through the exhaust.

Looking at the pics again the bottom pipe on the therm housing is your water in and the top one is out.
