Dumbest thing I ever did besides joining the army... painted my truck and did the graffix, assembled it and drove that bitch from jersey to georgia to pick up russell and brandi gulow, then we all drove out to texas heat wave together. Well because it sat all year with a quarter tank of gas (3rd stupidest thing ever done fill the damn tank before you start working on the whip) driving all that way I started getting all the rust from the tank washing through the system. So I was replacing damn fuel filters everytime I put gas in it. oh yeah it gets better. Around jackson mississippi on wednessday before the show. I realize that maybe you should bag your altenator haha apparantly if you get over spray in it it charges way too much and sends your battery caps flying into the air when you pop the hood. Then I was stuck in MS, with the sun going down swapping out the alt and battery in an autozone parking lot. God that just isn't the place for us yankees. Anyways if you look on Russells myspace you will still see pictures of the incident and it took place damn near 8 yrs ago.

Guess I will have to throw my .02 in here. Start off with a very close friend of mine and his 1990 Toyota. He was working in his garage alone changing the 3" drop blocks to 4". Front of the truck on jack stands, another set under the rear axel. So he unthreads the U bolts on each side not noticing the obvious.... Takes the last nut off on one side, the truck falls, pinning his hand between the ground and the leaf spring. fortunately for him the deepwell socket was next to his hand and took most of the weight! Anyway, the other arm was pinned behind his back so he ended up using his mouth to pull the floorjack over and free himself.

Now my turn.... Use to haul the show truck around on an open trailer that sat pretty low anyway. Raised the hydraulics and started backing off the trailer at a show..... oops, forgot the ramps!!!! went right off the back of the trailer - no damage. Lot of laughs from everyone else though.

I have 2

1. Many years ago i was working on my buddies frontier, and we were putting lowering blocks on his truck. We thought we had to take the entire leaf spring off for some retarted reason, and as soon as we unbolted the eyelid to the leafspring it shot back and smacked me in the face. It hit me so hard it threw me out from under the truck, at the same moment the truck slipped off the jack and fell to the ground. I got a concussion, but at least i wasn't smushed. From now on.. i always travel with at least 2 jackstands.

2. After getting 2 b2200 mazdas one w/ a title and a dead engine and the other w/ no title but a good engine i did amotorswap in one day. It was about 2 am, and since i trailored the dead motored mazda in, i never took time to check the lug nuts. I got about 4 miles down the road and the front drivers side wheel flew off while driving at 55mph. It was my cherry drag w/ no bags! Totaled the fender and hood, and the tire fortunatly didn't hit anything. Defenatly a dumb moment.. but easy to look back and laugh.

OUCH!!! hahaha. that wasn't so bad of a mistake though, haha. hell i made 1119.00 out of it.

my biggest dumbest mistake was i went to pull my driveshaft out with out chaulking the wheels and it was on an incline. (i thought i at least pulled the ebrake but i guess not). it was very painful and i am lucky to be here today. i got pinned between the frame and the ground. luckily the wife was home and jacked the truck off of my neck.
