the stupidest mistakes you've made

this should be funny. this is suppose to be about workin on your ride but it can be about other stuff too. ill start.

so i did the solid lifter conversion on my truck and put it all back together and couldnt get it to run. adjusted the lifters. still nothing. i checked my timing prolly 35 times, and tried 4 different distributors. still nothing. so alot of patience and like 5 days had went by. i walk out there today and find that i somehow connected two wires together that shouldnt be. i made a loop from the + of the coil to the - side of the coil. laughed pulled it apart. my baby fired up.

haha well actually, it was the day of my graduation, i was putting blocks under my truck and the truck fell off the jack (no stands...dumbass me) and it threw my rear end wayyyyy out of line. i didnt notice it till i drove it, i forget how we fixed it but...yeah it was stupid. -bf

ive done ALOT of dumb things. but i guess the dumbest in the truck was when i ran thru the garage door. lol

i was wiring up new taillights on my s10 and cut a lot of the wires in the back. got everything hooked up and went to start the truck and it wouldnt start. sat there for 30min tryin to figure out what i did wrong. finally realized that i had cut the wires for the fuel pump. god i felt stupid

now that is funny. anymore of you want to share your stupid encounters?

come on now maztang that dont count. i know you got something stupid to share. lol im wantin to hear something like yeh i was buildin my new engine and went to hit the starter and looked in the floorboard and seen my brand new shiny pistons that i forgot to put in.

stupidest mistake i have ever done, was when i was baggin my yota, we didnt get done til like 2-3am, and we have did the entire thing in 2 days, in 119 degree heat so we were exhausted, when putting my wheels back on neither of us tightened them and on my way home my truck started shaking really bad, and i heard lil thumps, and those thumps were my lugnuts hitting my under carraige i finally pulled over to see my wheels practically collapse on my truck lol good time, probly not the dumbest but up there for sure

haha, i been thru similar. except with my camaro. i had taking the wheels off and the calipers, well i forgot to bolt of of the front calipers on... yea when i hit the brakes, lotsa cool colors. and lotsa noise.
