This is an idea for Baha and the rest of the staff here. How about trying to start an annual show? I don't know about what all goes in to it, but being there are alot fewer truck shows (being over run by rice racers), with the help of this site, and many companies, maybe we can bring the mini-truck scene back to life.

Back in the early 90's thats all you would see, now honda's and acura's!!

round here there is NO scene. there's the backwoods mudders, a few tuners, and all the shows are old cars that old guys bring out when its not rainin. i mean i love old hot rods but EVERYONE has a chevelle, belair, camaro. its gotten old. there's a few people on her from ohio but no ones even close by to hang out with. all my friends are big 4x4 guys and they kinda snicker at my 'matchbox'. oh well.

just cuz theres no one around doesn't mean you hafta give up on it. i do things completely different from everyone around here. i have 3 hot rodded caprices and a lowerd mazda truck. i fit in NO WHERE.

Who in the North west would actually want to start a club ? I know I'm in on one. I really think this is something that should be looked into. Once a month sounds good to em because I'm sure we all have life's and have to get life taken care of first at least my fiancee and baby come first in my life. I know I've been in a few clubs and always got SH!T for not showing up as much as they wanted "once a week if not more" I don't feel you need to meet every week for a successful car club.

thats true. me and my friends tried to start a club, pretty much just hangin out in the parking lot. we all had different cars and we'd just bench race and BS. half the people in town thought we were just tryin to cause trouble. the other half thought we were retarded cuz of our type of cars and never got the idea of 'hangin out'.
the club im in for the caprices is based in pittsburg and its only a once a month deal but i have yet to make it cuz of money and time.

I feel your pain CL! Im 34 and Im just gettting back into the scene, mostly because of this site and my love of our presious little b's! I was big into the scene in the 90's and slipped out of it when I moved to fl from va 10 yrs ago! When I got here the scene and people were different than what i was used to and I found it hard to make friends so I moved on. But all I thought about was minis and Ive had a subscription to Minitruckin sence 88 so its always been in me, So I said f it and got me another Maz! Its my "theropy" Evertime I work on it it brings back memories and I keep thinking one day me and my son will be cruzin togther and to me thats what its all about, family not just relatives but the friends that we call family! Find your family and enjoy what makes you happy! But remember your soon to be one of the OG minitruckers! That carries alot of clout in this world of minitruckers!! Peace sorrry if this is kind of hard to follow Ive been up for 36 hours!
