What do you guys have to do to be "Legal"

in florida we dont have any inspections or emissions tests or anything that we have to pass

Pennsylvania has a vehicle inspection and emission inspection. The emission inspection is based on population per county. The county that i live in does have both. Vehicle inspections in the state of Pa are done by a mechanic that has passed a number of test and has an inspection license. Then have various things to inspect and check and they are required to fail you on anything that does not not meet a standard within the written law. I am fortunate however because my friend in a mechanic at a local car dealership. When it comes time for my inspection i bring my trucks to him. Everyone of my vehicles will pass all saftey inspections in tems of driveability unfortunately the law in Pa is a bit different when it comes to adjustable suspension. I am fortunate to have a friend that is also a minitrucker and holds an inspection license. In terms of vehicle safty i have seen some buckets aka "minitrucks" at shows that should never be driven. But i guess it all comes down to who you know in PA to obtain an inspection sticker. -------------Josh------ps watch out to the biggest pot holes and the worst roads while driving in PA

i was in bristol pa a few years back... your right the roads are bad but try driving through atlanta..... when they finish construction on roads (weather it be under the road or of the road) they just cover the problems with huge metal plates that are about an inch thick... and the pavement or black top isn't smoothed when patched... usually a few weeks later its a huge pot hole or dip in the road... also theres a lot of storm/sewer (thats right atlanta doesn't, until the recent change, have separate lines for storm water and sewer [which contaminates the fresh water supply] ) drain covers that are either 2 inches below the surface of the streets or 2 inches above the surface.... and sometimes the covers will be looking like they are going to fall in any minute..... its crazy you can be driving along and you know when your in dekalb county because you'll be on smooth roads.... but when you cross the line you automatically hit 15 pot holes and dips in the road...

city limits in memphis has inspection, i dont where i live though, not like frame mods would make a difference, but man the cops in my town are hard asses when it comes to minis, they know me by name, i'm not braggin when i say this.... or lying in the least but i've been pulled over 54 times in my s10, and mostly all for stupid shit like my license plate is crooked or i have a rollpan, or i didnt use my blinker..... i've been pulled over less than 8 times for actually doin somethin illegal in my truck

i got pulled over for having my front plate on my dashboard...and then got ticketed for 1)front plate 2)not using blinker 3)no safety check 4)no registration...pretty gay

kansas is easy.
i bought my truck in missouri, and had to get it inspected before i could title it here, that's the only reason, in state buys get no inspection. and all she did was made sure the lights work

sounds exactly like my town and the cops knowing me. i always get pulled over for stupid shit too and have gotten those 3 tickets in my mazda also

Down in good old new zealand we have to have a full inspection and certification, pretty intense, Chewck for good wrkmanship, strong welds and all the rest, so many rules too, u cant flick switches while driving, cant lay frame (legally) need to be able to roll if bags fail,alotta rules, but makes it safer in general, no rides with shitty workmanship rollin round

thank god my county doesnt have emssions.
