What do you guys have to do to be "Legal"

sorry guys im posting on my bro's name this is 1lowb2200 but yea VA is nothing but a bunch of redneck a holes that will give u a ticket for anything that is not oem ive had tickets from altered suspension, inproper exhaust, inproper equiment, tinted windows, ect. and here just cause it will pass inspection doesnt make it legal cause my sentra passed inspection but i still got a ticket for the exhaust being to loud and sitting to low and it was only lowered 2" with sport springs we call VA the great communest state cause any alteration other then oem is illegal

I'm not 100% sure.If it changes owners,it'll most likely need a safety since that's the way the law states it. Phone around and see.

Dude im from MO and it rocks around here my Old neon was 2 inches off the ground and cops would pull me over and ask me how i got around with all the pot holes and that was that lol.... i always got hassled for my windows but nothing else.... i actually watched a guy lay frame right in front of a cop in a town just west of me and the cop just kept on drivin.... Missouri dont give a damn till it comes to windows and seat belts.

here in hawaii we gotta get a safety check every year and we gotta get a recon or reconstruction sticker if we alter the suspension, put rims, or put a roll-pan n things of the like

so does that mean all those really nice import seen in the magazines are reconstructed? that is pretty lame.
