Oregon - Lowriders' hydraulics are OK. However, there is a statute that requires all motor vehicles to be a minimum height off the ground. The law specifies that if the vehicle is sitting on flat pavement with no tires mounted on the wheels, no part of the underside of the car can touch the ground.
see that Oregon is the place to lowride, just leave the tires home and hit the streets.
oh and don't get caught without red reflectors in the back

well im in a county that is overly populated with police... and ive been lucky enough that ive only been pulled over once when i first bought the truck because i hadn't gotten a tag for it yet but here in ga you have 30 days to get a tag so i didn't get ticketed.... ive been driving around now for quite some time with my clear tails (with colored bulbs) and have been followed a few times during both day and night by police and havent yet gotten a ticket.... a few years ago when i lived in north ga (i was the only mini up there.. this was back in 2000 when i had my 98 HB staticed 6/7 drop on 17's) anyhow i got pulled over every time i hit the city area... for i guess being to low or to loud or any reason they could come up with to pull me over....

I used to get pulled over all the time with Kermit around here. The worst was when I got pulled over for my clear tails and the cop tried my horn on my aftermarket steering wheel and I didn't have the horn hooked up. She nearly pulled my truck off the road right there due to "unsafe combination of improperly installed components".
In Ontario,to get your truck registered, you just need a valid emissions test if it is newer than 1987,and you need to pass a safety inspection, where all they do is check for your brakes, tires, lights, glass, suspension and other important components to your vehicle's safety. It's harder to get a bagged truck certified, but if it's done properly, you won't have any problems. In Ontario, you only require a safety inspection when the vehicle changes owners. So if you buy a stock B2200 and get it saftied while it's stock and then a week later you go and bag it,you'll never have to worry about getting it saftied again, unless you sell it to someone where it becomes their problem,or if you get pulled over the the cop deems your vehicle unsafe and you need to get it inspected by the Ministry of Transportation

Hey mikey, do you know if you need to get a re-cert if the vehicle is "Gifted" to you? My father is doing that to my bagged truck so i'm kinda unclear as to whether I have to re-certify the truck or not. I'll have to phone the Ministry and ask. I believe I do though.

haha i got pulled over this morning as i was leaving the gas station because i pulled and layed the front out. came back out and a cop was across the lot. so i fill it back up. pull out and bam blue lights. so i pull over and he says um make it go back down. so i lay it out. he says make it go back up. so i do as he says. he was like damn thats pretty fast. i was like yeh. um why did you pull me over? he was like oh dont worry man i wasnt gonna give you a ticket. i had a lowrider when i was young and just wanted to check your truck out. i think its pretty cool. have a good day. i laughed and pulled away.

I hear that, where I live you can drive the biggest lifted cobbled P.O.S. and the cops just wave. But if your in anything low, truck or import they act like your out doing drive-bys and kidnapping school children.
