ive seen countless arguements about this and i dont understand after almost 10 years people are complaining about it,
i see 2 ways around it, live somewhere else or dont drive
i have to get e-tests done every year, the maz one year then the 4runner the next year,
the 4runner just failed, really bad, my sticker is expired, do i care? no! ill fix it when i want till then, fuck em, i got friends that get fake ones, which is what ill probably end up doing but it doesnt fix my shitty gas milage problem, which is causing harmful fumes and all that crap, which is why they have the e-test
its going to be around for years learn to deal with it, i have, and its to the point i dont care,
get it fixed u knew what u were getting into when you bought it and your complaining about it

No,because as far as I have known,1988 and older were exempt,which is why I was extremely happy when I bought this truck finding out it was an '88,and then for them to say "oh,too bad,the law changed,bend over."

mike you put the dash in kermit..get a pass with the grey trucks vin number...then put the dash back in the grey truck..problem solved

they changed that law almost a year ago, it was in newspapers on the newa and on the website, where have u been?
and no i cant hook anyone up, the only reason i got mine is because my friend owed me a favour,
i have other people i know that will do it for 150$ but they wont do it for any "joe" off the street, u have to know them and they need to know who u are

yea they get in SERIOUS shit if they get caught i know a guy that lets me put a different truck on the dyno and just runs my vin..but yea hese not gonna do it for just anyone

it is only the lower mainlaind in bc that has emisions.I live in the okanagan valley and no emisions test. Right now there is no way my truck would pass.

That doesn't help me at all when Kermit no longer runs,has no exhaust,is not plated and not insured and has no front end body panels/fascia.

well then your screwed...find a mazda that wiil past and do it then...maby you can fool em good and put the mazda dash in the caddy
