sorry guys...comp been screwin up..
yes we figured it out!!!
last sat. was workin on truck started messin with everythin and did compression check and all that...
since i still had some new parts that came with ruck we decided to replace them

ne ways...everything came down to the fuel filter!!! haha such a simple little thing..but atleast its fixed

compression from 1-4 read.....172-128-128-93
im not likin it at all but the truck is runnin good right now.
i am now able to go over 80mph and am able to go up almost any hill...havent found one i cant yet!!
but for it still bein the original engine and only havin bout 170k miles...i dont think thats bad at all

I figured that a filter would take care of it.

Maybe the thing was as old as the truck. . . 26 years. . . they don't last forever.

I would go back an redo those compression tests.

93 psi would generate a miss. . . 120 is usually a minimum. . .maybe the gauge wasn't sealing correctly.

And 172 seems a little out of line in comparison to the 130's.

Not questioning your results. . . but from your description of how well the truck runs. . . if those numbers were correct, . . .

It wouldn't idle evenly.

I totally understand your reservations. I worked for an excavation company that ran it in all of their toyotas 6 of them from 150,000 miles on and when I moved they all had over 300,000 smoke free miles. Im a big believer in good used motors when you can find one. This stuff is of course a band aid too keep it on the road until you can make professional repairs. I hope your gauge was leaking!
