my truck finally pooped out- no fuel getting to carb...
.pretty sure its the fuel pump relay because there is also no power getting to the fuel pump
problem one- where the hell is the relay?????
problem two- father killed the fuel pump by jimmy riggin it to see if that was prob.....(no one said he was smartest redneck)
prob 3- does anyone know what interchanges- mine is an electric fuel pump on the rail..i have been told it is universal and cheap if i can find it...but i dont know where to look- and i dont know what cars to look at for a used one at my work until then....HELP!!! plz

You should be able to get a universal electric fuel pump from Napa for around $50-$60. I don't know where you fuel pump relay is for sure, but my manual says it is supposed to be behind the driver's kick panel. After you test it and if it fails then re-test your pump. You may get lucky.

she has an 84 there is nothing behind the kickpanel other than sheetmetal. hahaha.

you should be able to just go get a low pressure electric fuel pump and wire it into the ignition switch. i do not believe there is a relay for it, i think there is only a fuse in the fuse box under the hood on the driver side. but it has been over a year since i have even looked at my truck and i can't remember everything right off. good luck.

no there isnt a fuse for it...we looked..and looked and looked again...the book says there is a relay..but it doesnt say where!! of course..and we r sure its the relay..and we know i need a new fuel pump now that my dad burned the one up....

so wheres the picture of the lady turning some wrenches on the mazdawg?
