Diesels?

I'm assuming you mean it's an easy swap if the truck was already a diesel (6.2) to begin with.

Or is it no big deal to do this swap to a gas-powered rig?

I have a buddy with a pretty hot, straight-pipe'd 12-valve in his Dodge. It's wicked fast and sounds bad as hell. Might be a fun swap for a square body Chebby. Especially with a 5 or 6 speed manual.

yeah but you will be lucky to get 9 miles a gallon and there pulling down at least 15..

I've only got about 600miles on it and I got 11mpg on the little road trip I did over the week end so once its broke in a little more it should get a little better that and I've got to get the o2 and map censors to quit trying to flood it out
