I'd rather replace carrier bearings that tranny seals, especially on a Mazda
I'd run a 2 piece if it were me, wait a sec, thats what I did on mine
Tell the cab to hit it back! J/K Notch the cab or hook yourself up with a 2 Piece shaft. Notching the cab will be easier in your case though.
Never seen a Mazda with a single piece shaft over here in Australia.
In mine I just have the two piece, with a slip joint near the centre carrier on the back half of the shaft.
So when it lays it doesnt fuck the centre bearing, the slip joint just compresses. Drives smooth as, no vibrations.
mine hit too, so i just built a new frame and now its all okay!!
just put it all back together and drop the rear that will fix it. j/k dont take my advice
notch the drive shaft. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I'd be more concerned with the links welded to the rearend at an angle.
