F-N COOKIE CUTTER! anyways those are the guys if their ride broke down they wouldnt know what to do!.
i feel the same way... that shit is gettin a little redicules... u dont member something like that.... now a truck like little shop lakeys or plane janes truck is the kind of shit that u will never for get seein... I dont even look at all the lambo doored bagged on 49" wheels shit... I think it looks dumb no offens to anyone! just my opinion
Me and some friends were talking about this kind of stuff this past weekend. We were at a show and there was some Escalades with big wheels and a bunch of tv's that were getting more attention than any of the other trucks. These Escalades ended up winning trophy's while some pretty sick trucks got overlooked. I think its a bunch of b/s. The judges were so mesmerized by these tv's and 26's they didnt even realize the amount of blood, sweat, and tears that went into the truck next to it that was laying body on a clean set 20's. I hope this "trend" ends pretty soon.
i agree! and if truckin' mag would get rid of about 1/3 or more of its advertisements itd be a helluva lot better too.
FU** yeah its about time i can say one thing though if you have suv/truck whatever and you put big ass rims on them and lay that bitch on the ground then were talkn cause you take the balln to another level... i have a guy whos puttn 26s on a surburban but hes slammn that bitch now thats crazy shit there...keep it baller status but remember where you got it from minis.....represent them and drag the bitches.......ohhhh another thing.....lambo doors.....FU** THEM....think they look shi**y on truck and suvs there made for lambos i mean shi* look at the name LAMBO doors keep them on there......thats just my 2 cents though....

Being one who works in Los Angeles, I constantly comment to myself about how some folks think their vehicles are legit solely because they slap on some huge wheels, sometimes too big to where the vehicle looks akward. To each their own but, from my perspective, I agree there is more to a custom.
In regard to bolt-ons, my KP 4 link w/cantilever is a bolt on, however I still cleanly had everything plasma cut away before installing. My truck use to be a 105 mile (round trip commute) daily driver, so I was reluctant to go too extreme. The front is traditioanlly done with new CAs and fabricated cups and new shock mounts.
...the watts-link is unique also.
Custom is definitely relative and it is seen differently in the eyes of the beholder but I do agree, in the words of Yoda, that big wheels & TVs does not a custom, make.
It makes total sence why minis seem to be getting fewer and fewer and Escalades with 29's are everywhere. The minis are still in our garages because we take pride in building them and Escalades are just shelf boughten. Anyone with some money can look in a magazine and order some wheels and a tv or 30. But that magazine can't give them the Pride I know i have for spending every free minute i have to build my truck..So lets just show them that there are still Minitruckers out there that build kick ass shit.
