that is bad picture to use for that article. because thats not a escalade w/ air ride only. its tubed, the firewall is sectiond...there's a lot done to that truck to get to lay 26s. its not like its layin' tire...its layin frame...flat.

i'm sorry, but its kinda of a dumb article. askin where ppl get there money and stuff. well, how about askin the same question to the ppl that have rediculifted f250s haulin $80,000 boats? makes no sense. its just the way ppl want to spend their money, plain and simple.

the scene is a lot different now, thanks to the mass media influence. it doesnt bug me, tho. why should i care how ppl build (or not build) there rigs.

FUCK YEAH!! BOUT TIME!

That shit is fine for a pimped out daily driver, but not for A CUSTOM SHOW VEHICLE.

It's all good tho, because in a truly judged show, those baller rides won't beat out the others.

Peace.

Hell Yeah I Agree! I get snubbed at shows just because I can't afford new wheels. It has taken a long time to complete my ride and its still not complete. The thing that makes our past time great is not money, it's friends helping friends and building your ride for you, not anyone else. It's funny that people will notice Lambo Doors over real body mods, I.E. Taking things and making them look as if they were ment to be there. Take my hood for instance, not one person at any show has noticed this mod, and they are judging our rides. Not bitching, but do you get the point, only a handful of people really are in to this scene. They can spot things that no one else catches. True Enthusist. Oh, and just because you have BIG Wheels, and your truck is lowered some, and the body is STOCK don't make it custom built! Another However I understand that everyone has to start somewhere! Just don't act a fool about it!

its just another breed... calm the fuck down... thank god this article came out, atleast it will give minitruckers the inspiration to keep going... i know half of you were insecure that your style was no longer "cool"... whats funny to me is that people don't realize that every style is going to be analyzed and written about, whether good or bad. (like the mini truckin that had a feature on old school style). Do what you do... if you are like me then you have appreciation for alot of different styles.. and I dissagree with the writter of the article when he said that people have put down their plasmas and shit... and how there are less "true" customs.... the only reason there seems to be less is that they are overshadowed by 26" rim havin big bodies... and hummers and other high end vehicles being built on sponsorships... i dont know if any of you have noticed... but yeah even out sport is a marketers dream and the scene is really sketchy with that... (which was the main point of the article) so I do agree on that.
props to ZaK (TrucksHC) on his thoughts.... be back later for more.... haters go ahead and hate
