That was a good piece. That is surprising they would run it - props for them running.
But to the defense of bolt on parts, that's what got me started. I have started with bolting stuff on, and it got me into the scene. Now, I cut and weld my ride all the time (waiting for my back to heal before I get into bagging my truck); but without the bolt ons in the beginning, when I was just starting to work on my truck, I wouldn't have been able to really get into minitruckin'. However, I will not speak in defense of big wheels and obnoxious systems on otherwise stock rides. That will always piss me off.
hey check it out. that caddi lays.......runners.
Dual Kudos to that writer and Truckin' for publishing it.
i was just having this argument in work the other day. im glad to see something published to shut some of these idiots up.
This is EXACTLY why "Plane Jane" made such a commotion when it came out. By far the most original work I've seen in many years of judging and attending shows. Not that 'theme' trucks are orginal, but it wasn't the same old cookie cutter ideas.
ya i agree too. but i didn't think we would be hearing it from truckin'. now if they would just lose the whole boating section in their mags.
haha...KB did that truck. lays frame on 26s. im not into the lambos and spinners, but the truck is dialed in, none the less.
