i noticed some dudes carrying cases of beer out of a store lol
i guess that borderline needed
what else are you going to do go swimming???
but yeah i saw both looting for food/water and for unneeded crap....and to use the term "on the flipside"
the store owners most likely have insurance which will cover both property and structure and also most any store owner is going to take out extra coverage for merchandise and products

Yeah the shoes and all are definately not needed. But as far as the people jacking food and water I cant blame them. You gotta do what you gotta do to survive.

I agree with those stealing food, water, and clothes if they're getting them to wear now and not just cause it's something they want for later. I can also understand taking shoes if they aren't already wearing some cause who knows what's under the water they're walking though, wouldn't wanna step on something that could hurt them.

$5.00 says you go to that store I saw in the video and theres cases of water sitting on the shelf, some bread, etc. But by good fuckin luck finding that portable DVD player you've been looking all over town for.
I know it may sound insensitive but this place was NOT flooded.. people were running in as fast as they could, hiding their face from the camera. One shot showed a cop draggin a guy by his arm BACK into the store and the guy had to throw what he stole back in there.

the report i was watching earlier. they where talking about the looting, and the desk reporter said are they stealing the things they need to survive. the women with the camera crew said if they need new nikes and tv's then yes. they also said they saw people running from the casinos w/ bags of cash, but i heard that the cash was removed from them on sunday. so who fuckin knows.
just settup some good snypers on the roofs across the street from the shoe store.

Personally I could give a sh*t who's looting what, cause I have more important shit to worry about in LA, then the poor people that couldn't leave N.O. cause they had nowhere to go stealin' shit that's gonna be destroyed before the flooding is done anyways... They can go ahead and take a DVD player, what they gonna do with it??? they are evacuating the whole city, it's all gonna be trashed... Instead of dwelling on that shit let's get this back to givin' a shit about the people that are still stuck in houses and shit... damn...

the worst thing about this is that scientist said today that this prolly wont be the last storm to hit the area and if another does that has anywhere near this type of power will be more devastating than anything we have ever seen, so everyone just pray that wont happen

I don't know what all ya'll have seen on the news. But to give ya'll some local heads up, those parts of n.o. that aren't flooded yet, soon will be. SInce n.o. sits below lake pontchartrain, and the lake is 8 ft above it's normal level, sometime in the next few days, n.o. will have about 15- 20 ft of water everywhere. The city is pretty much a loss, as well as slidell. That's the word we're getting on our local news. Later.
