they say that some places wont be inhabitable for 10+ years, the ground is unstable, no roads, no water, no power. People are looting and national guards are there, one guard who was watchin the looting was asked whut he is gunna do, he replied 'what am i supposed to do? shoot all 200 of them? they are getting food!' There are so many dead bodies that they dont have enough room for them, they are painting the houses with a red stripe so they can come back later to pickup the bodies. this is just sad...
yeah things was rough here for awhile yesterday. We've had people requested information on family members be relayed through HAM radio, I only operate on 2meters so unfortunantly I can't use my radio for request such information. But it's not a fast process.

Anyone in GA?
Onlything we had in Ga was some wind and alot of rain. We had like 7 or 8 comfirmed tornados. 2 of them caused a pretty good bit of damage. One actually hit a mile from my house. Me and my roomate (smalls from gauge magazine) rode up tha road and we looked over and seen tha sky swirling and then it just dropped outta tha sky. We were no more then 200 yards from it. 1st one i've ever seen in person. I was simply in awe
even here in jackson if got screwed up. bad ass winds and trees down everywhere. folks been waitn to get gas for 5 or 6 hours.

Actually it dropped to Cat 4 strength moments before landfall, but repoters that have been through Cat 5 says you can't tell a difference in the devestation that they both cause.
Shit sucks bad, we have some cleaning up to do around here, but hell, we are still living our normal everyday lives....
