cant get ahold of BYC!!
no need to even defend them, they speak for themselves. cut them in two pieces and see the thickness, test them and see what they are made of. its simple as that. if you pick up a part, you see they are heavy, if thats not enough to convince you, then maybe you are dumb enough to cut them in two and have them tested.
ask Jason as SD about the arms we sent him, they are DOM, im sure he knows it when he sees it. ask any fab guy thats been here, we dont even have any pipe in the building.
wait I take that back, we have some holding up the curtains between the shop area and shipping, and we have a pipe in the office we hang our shirts on.
ok he answered the question of materials in the post above yours.....jack ass
BYC uses DOM exclusively. simple as that
we also use laser cut HR steel and some CR steel. we Tig weld everything as of April of this year. the only time we even Mig weld anything is on maybe a step notch or other on the truck items.
Sean has called me and we have had a long chat. the parts in question are DOM tube.
anyone that has parts made by us that thinks they are not DOM, please cut a piece out of them and have them tested, if they are not, we will send you double your money back. or send you 2 sets of the same item.
Well Mike and I have just had a conversation with him and it has been determined that If these arms are built with pipe they would have been built in early 04. Now I have voiced a few options about DOM and how things can be done. His tubes are polished with a ROLOC disc and that is why they have turned out to be in somewhat a polished state. If an appology is need then I DO APPOLOGISE FOR this. Really didnt need to start bashing (if you want to call it that). I just wanted to inform some of the others that didnt know the difference between DOM tubing and PIPE.
OK so obviously this thread will go on forever so I might as well put my 2 cents in. I have known mike for the better part of 4 years. He rebuilt my last show truck and will be involved in my next project. He is a knowledgable individual that truly loves this sport and wants to see it advance. Everyone falls on tough times periodically so just give him some slack. If building A-arms is so easy like some of you imply then why bother buying a set, just build them since you all are great fabricators.
As far as Corey H. is concerned, tell that "Im gonna call the local PD" shit to your highschool buddies. The local cops have more to do then help a kid from the other side of the US. Mike will pay you eventually so calm down. If you think dealing with Mike is bad then order from AIM and get shit parts and know that you stand NO chance of getting your money back.
As far as the material being used, it is DOM. I may not be the engineer that stormstyles portrays himself to be but I do know that BYC uses DOM.
Now some of you dorks need to relax. You will get the money or your parts. Granted it may not be in the timeframe that Mike told you but like I said he will not screw you. Thats not his style.

I like to pee in the wind, well, errrr, never mind...
Mike White: I see you are around, and I am wondering why you havent responded to my e-mail,posts, or phone calls. Its the simple fact that you have told me 3 times that my control arms were going to be shipped and they still havent. Please tell me what is really going on with my ranger arms?
John, im making you a set of arms. I sent your arms to someone else. they went to someone who ordered S-10 arms. I havent gotten a call from whomever got them yet. so im making you some more. Ive been moving all this week, so I havent been able to answer calls.
