just ordered this today...maybe a little overkill but i wont have to worry bout tranny issues for a while i hope.

So this is the basic idea for the new rear suspension
The red line from side to side is meant to represent the axle. The two horizontal black line represent the uprights coming up from the frame then joint together at the top. then i will tie the top of that "box" back down to the frame, two angles from the top back down to the frame behind the axle and two more going forward with will tie into the cage at some point. Then basically put mounts on top of the axle and on the bottom the horizontal black line and the coilovers(in green) in between.

so...got the motor and tranny pulled tonight and now it sits waiting for the new trans. Probally gonna pull the box off tomarrow to start the new rear suspension.

new clutch...decided to start with a stock clutch for cost purposes for now...maybe try a 6 puck setup later on.

And i probally would have had the whole thing back in cept for i didnt know the bellhousing i got was for a 10 1/2" clutch and i bought and 11". Crappy...bellhousing hit the pressure plate at the bottom so i ordered a new bellhouing today.

Oh yeh...got the new shock for the rear today too.

so i figured out a good inexpensive clutch line...basically its a front brake line from a toyota with the fixed caliper setup. should work...ill post pics as i put it together.
