I have a couple of questions. What axle are you using, are you running a solid drive shaft or two piece, and how far forward are the chevy mounts from the stock ones. oh and where did you buy your shifter?

still using the stock rear end, shifter is a universal kit made by MR Gasket. And the new mounts are pretty far forward...eight inches maybe more...never actually measured the difference

Did you ever hook up a legit park brake...? And when you did the disc brakes, was the factory brake shoe mounting plate kept or did you get rid of that...? I'm finally getting around to building my rx7 powered rear diff, and been trying to decide on if I just go ahead now and do rear disc, or use factory shoes, since I'm building an axle that isn't currently in use So i can still drive my truck for now until I put in the new rear.
