I would think you wpuld want a more functional shifter. But everything looks good

I have been wanting to ask, what type of seat is that in there? did you just have to drill a couple holes and bolt it in? I have a bench and I am dying to get buckets.

some cheap ebay seats. I used the brakets off the bench seat that was in there and fabricated a couple cross pieces and bolted it in.

well...finally got it all back in and everything plumbed...but i gotta find a master for the clutch with a bigger bore...the one thats in there doesnt move enough fluid to disengage the clutch...did some research and a 86 chevy pick up has a 11/16 bore versus a 5/8 so that should do the trick

Do you have any pics of how you modified the bench seat tracks to fit buckets?

i dont have any pics of that. All i did was take the feet off the tracks, bolted just the feet into the floorboard using the factory holes, laid out some metal, welded it in place, and that gave the base for the seat. Then i just marked the holes for the seat, bolted them up and that was that..
