8 degrees is factory. Im running 12 degrees advanced with a small cam. Got loads of low end torque. You can get away with 10 degrees on a stock cam. Just listen for ping and retard back if needed.

Really, I kept coming across it being 6deg factory... I'll retard it more then and see how she goes, thanks guys
