What's the gas mileage difference between the 2 weber carbs? Any power difference?

I know that the 32/36 is supposed to have better gas milage and not a whole lot more power where the 38 is supposed to be just as good on gas as the stock but a little more powerfull. the 38 is better if u plan or have already modified your engine with cam upgrades, high compression pistons/rings, high flow exhauset such as headers, no cat. and the 32/36 is better if u just plan on putting it on and leaving the motor alone and just want better mpgs and to delete vacuums and shit. I went with the 38 and after I did my head and ring job, I still think I have better mpgs than the stock carb did. very good throttle response and power through full rpms.
not a race truck but much better than its ever been. it actually moves. lol

Well all I really plan on doing to the motor is pacesetter header, gutted cat (need it to just be there to pass inspection where I live) and custom exhaust fabbed by yours truly, an e-fan, and one of the carbs, which do you guys think I should go with, I'll be making a build thread soon so stay tuned.

a 32/36 would work fine im sure, but id go 38, more bang for your buck and since your opening up your exhaust, it probly be a good choice. but it is more expensive by about 100 to 150 bux, but youll get... and I quote "the most from your 2.2 5spd." lol, I love my weber, had nothing but problems trying to get it tuned, got it decent till I did the head and rings, then took another week or two of tuning, but then I found a vac. leak from the hose that goes from brake master to intake, I had stretched the hole when I set my intake aside when I did the head and it kept dieing. and I about burnt my truck to the ground I got so mad. but after I found it, replaced the hose, I had it tuned in about a minute and a half! haven't messed with it since. ive pointlessly open my hood once in a while but I haven't had to work on my truck in 2 weeks! lol I think youll be happy with either, but I like the 38.
