How messed up is it that amazon just had adds for hinges below the posts

hey man, im going to do the same thing to my tailgate and was wondering how well does it work with the stock tails? do they hit or anything

my tails don't touch at all
worst case just slightly slot the hinge holes in the box so you can adjust accordingly

I was thinking of doing this as well.While bagging my buddies ridge line, i was looking at his tail gate set up.The tailgate on the ridge lines fold down and open like a door.I was thinking of getting the hinge set-up and making them work.Think its workable.
