this seems like a stupid question, but what and how exactly do you mark the tooth and groove?

Just use paint to show where it originally was tooth to tooth.

ooh!! thanks man!

and one more question, i remember asking another person on another forum about what shocks to get after it is lowered that much (wheel tucking) and he said he got the smallest shocks. i thought thats what you could tell autozone or something and theyll tell you what the smallest shocks they have are. but i told them and they said its by model. so my main question is, are shocks universal?

sorry, im really new to this. all i have done was lower on 4" blocks and cranked the torsions as far as i felt it was safe. lol i never really thought about shocks and stuff.

Commenting so it saves on my phone lol. I'm gonna try this at work tonight if it's slow. Will make it super simple having lifts and power tools lol

sent while peering deeply into my soul.... trying to find that lost apex seal again.....

Here, this might help with shock lengths. Measure your stock shocks, and find a shorter one on this list. Hope it helps.

i don't really understand your question. do you need the bolt? it goes through the cross member which it tightens against.

There is no threaded section on my truck in reach of the key... I have the bolt and it has the half moon that sits in the torsion bar, but where does it thread to and should I go ahead and index the bars 1 or 2 threads before install because it seems like quite a bit of difference.
