Camber Issues

what's up guys.

well it's been a good week, finishing up the exhaust issues (still....) dealing with a lot lot lot of backfire....but on a more serious note...

I cannot have my Truck aligned ANYWHERE here is charlotte....

No matter if i buy all new bushing or what have you...They all give me the same answer after I mention it being bagged...."Uh, we can't do that"


So I guess i'm gonna have to do it myself....

I Got SS 8's up front and i have crazy lift up there now, so if anyone could be so kind and explain to me how to Adjust camber?

I have extremely Positive camber right now.

RE8s are huge! Those are meant for fullsize trucks lol

Is that at ride height? It doesn't look like the upper bag plate angle was set correctly to me but that's a different issue.

To adjust your camber you need upper control arm shims that go between the cross shaft and where it bolts to the frame. Adding a spacer will move the cross shaft closer to the engine pulling your camber in at the top. They look like an upside down Y.

Also what did you do to modify the arms?

can you send a picture? I've been looking and looking and haven't found a single thing. I'm actually trying to re-do the set up in the front, but having a hard time finding pics.

How the hell did you fit an 8 in there without cutting into the frame?

Take the truck to an alignment shop. Just air it up to the ride height you normally drive at and have them align it at that height. There's no reason they cant do it.

If you can't find the actual alignment shims you can buy the correct sized washers and just cut a striaght slot from the hole to the outside of the washer. It will end up looking like a "C" shaped washer.
