Ive recently picked up a mazda, and it came with a 12 gallon tank, and ONE viair 450, which isnt going to be cuttin' it for sure, so I was wanting to know what Engine Driven Compressor would be best with a 12 gallon tank and have plenty of fun time with. Ive searched and people say you can find the sanden a/c compressors in a junkyard ect. ect. but i have no idea about them at all.
Thanks in advance,
Brad

York is best by far if you are up for the challenge, but Sandens have been proven to work as well...
If you have the cash I would recommend the York DIY Kits...they come with everything you need for $600 roughly! You can choose a v-belt clutch or a serp. clutch!
Just my two cents!

Well if I don't have to go the $600 route if its not needed, then I don't want to lol, But I've been told that they dont make a kit for mazdas also?
Where would I find a York kit for a mazda?
Thanks man,
Brad

You won't find an Engine Driven Kit for a Mazda...
The kits I am referring to can be seen HERE
I sell them for $625 and they retail for $995
But like you said you can find a Sanden in a junk yard for next to nothing...

Find a sanden 709. They came in alot of vehicles. Theres a list in this website of what vehicles come with sanden compressors.

Sanden. 508, 509, 708, 709.
I ran 5s and 7s. The 5 lasted longer. I was running 400 psi daily on a 25 gallon tank.

one came with a 709, another with a 508. Varies. I dunno why. I went to a junk yard, and bought 1 of each for 50 total, and I had a 508, 509, 708, and a 709. Odd, but true.
