What a fun day today. I bought two B2200's for $1500! I'm officially back in the scene now.
First one I bought was a 92 reg cab with FI and 5 spd. Absolutely mint body on it, but someone decided that it would look better as a convertable so they cut the roof off. Then I think they decided it wasn't such a good idea, so they welded, screwed and foamed the roof back onto the cab. I paid $450 for the truck and drove it almost 3 hours back home. It runs absolutely mint.
Check out the sweet stacked 2 and 3" blocks. Hint sarcasm
How about the awesome foamed and screwed roof? This is inside the cab above the cab speaker block off plate.
Or the seats that are safely bolted to the floor
This black truck is going to be stripped down and the motor is going to be pulled and swapped into this one;
'88 ext cab with a carb. Says it has a rebuilt motor. It runs great but the clutch or slave is just about done and the brakes are spongy. Truck is clean overall and I paid $1200 for it and I pick it up Monday night and will be driving it as of Tuesday. Motor and FI from the black truck will be swapped into the red one, as will the 3" blocks and the wheels, chrome bumper and chrome trim tails and tailgate. This one also comes with a Kenwood sub and amp, but I need a headunit.
So, the red one is going to be my new ride! I can't wait to tear into it. We're going to do the motor swap next weekend, and probably drop it sometime this week.
It's good to be back!!!
