I really dislike people that bash on somebodys mods, hack or not don't post there pictures on the net if only to bash. If you see a hack ride, tell the kid in private what's wrong, what he should do to fix it etc. Posting pictures of it can absolutely destroy a person. I wish Streetsource and mazdabscene would have a delete policy immediately upon somebody posting another persons truck just to diss. I think this had led to less creativity in the scene, less new generation minitruckers. Althought things have advanced, not what they should have in my opinion.

The NW and the whole scene will be better off because of shows like Mazdafest and any other shows that decide Alcohol is not a requirement to have a good time.

I hear ya guys regarding the downfall of the "mini" scene. For me, the local "lowrider" scene has taken a major downturn. To many wanna be thugs rollin spokes, blasting music and just trying to be the talk of the show (good or bad; mostly bad).

Baha - in complete agreement with you. Avoid the negative influence and you own attitude will improve.

Dev / CL - here's hoping MazdaFest can put a positive spin on the scene. At least in the Northwest. I know my club is doing it's best to put aside the hate in this area but I fear it will be a long road back.

Well im glad I got back into the B's, I had a 240sx before this, alot fo the guys in those forums were kinda stuck up i guess you could say.....Its not about how much money you have, its not about whos faster, I have noticed just in the month that i have gotten back into trucks, you guys are much more helpful and more supportive even if you have stock, we all have the same passion. I know down here in medford, I very rarely see a mini anyweres and when I do, it almost has to be hush hush or underground. Thats not right....It only takes one bad apple to ruin a bunch. we are always going to have the inevitable bad apple, i say dont run them out but try to get them to see, we are enthusiast, we have a passion, for gods sake there are people in oregon that have made a roadster out of there b, all it does is rain here.....and we, again for the most part are good people.......It is time, especialy in todays word, to come together as our scene, the entire scene, and change the way people see us, influence others, and help each other out. sorry rant over..............

Alot of times when you tell someone in person their work isn't up to par they think you're trying to insult them. They don't take it as constructive criticism, or that you're worried about someone's safety. I've seen a few ppl that having their truck pictured in a 'hacked rides' thread was the only thing that pushed them enough to actuallly fix it.

the way i see it is there is going to be dumbasses in every kind of cars/trucks. so im going to roll my minitruck regardless of what others think just because that is what i like and thats what im going to stick with. Its obvious that your heart lies with minis rick so my opinion would be to take back the community that you once had and embrace it, dont just leave. i mean you have been a minitrucker since atleast the 80's. It really sucks hearing this because with me being 21 i know that alot of these "Punk ass kids" are people my age and in my generation. I mean when it comes to me it doesnt just affect what i drive. My whole persona is curbed by dumbasses and it is hard for others to see the real you when there surrounded by others trashing your generation. I just try to be me and hope that others will hopefully eventually see there is appeal...
