it should ride like your grandma's fuckin caddy after its bagged!
i drive my pig everyday - even take the long way to work to have more cruise time lol, have no second thoughts about taking it on a 5 hour drive to the big smoke and the ride shits on factory suspension. i couldnt go back to a static truck for a daily.
cheers.
Same here, that and the engine's been acting crazy, so i drive a low low cutty as a daily for now.
Bagged and bodied, A\C and heat....driven daily, up until about a year ago when I started working an hour and a half away from home. Not quite as comfy on the highway as my Integra with cruise control but I have made the trip on more than one occasion. Ride quality depends on the build and as mentioned, how much air your running in your bags...fully inflated usually means a BOUNCY ride! Taken care of a bagged ( and even body dropped truck ) can be depended daily. Oh and "blown bags" .....I am on my 4th bagged truck and have not replaced a bag yet. Compressors on the other hand....and valves....always nice to have a spare on hand! lol ( But those are easy roadside fixes in a pinch.
Hey Guys Thanks for all the good Info, I'm New to Bagged minnis We bought the Wife one already Built now I'm Spending Days Trying to Profect What was not done Right. Like Put Screws in the Dash and Bolts in the Fenders.
We are curently Haveing Heat Issues, got down to 25 last night so the Wife Drove her F150 to School today and Left me the Mazda to find out what's up with the heat not getting Warm..
So I thought I would post up and see if you guys know of any Qurks that kill the heat.
ie. On a Samurai the Heatewr core will fill with Debre and you have to dril a hole in the side of the box to vacume out the top of the heater core..
Any Clu's Folks?
alot of times the selector switch will break from all the years of use.... when turning it you should get a little resistance and you should hear the air diverter flap moving from the a/c port to the heat port... (if you turn the selector kinda fast the flap should make a loud enough noise for you to hear it) next thing would be to check under the hood if the hoses going to the heater core are getting hot..... if they are getting hot then id think its the selector or something isn't hooked up right under the dash
I drive my baged and stockfloored every day even go on 10hour drives with it.. rain or snow or sunny its driven( and it has a removeable top too) had no prob's yet...as for the water traps,I find they like to freeze up and block the air ways winter has more water in the air, so your compressor makes more water in the lines and there for your traps get wetter and then freeze up....mine did anyway
Go to a truck stop and get a bottle of air line antifreeze (alcohole SP?). The stuff works great.
tryed that still didnt seem to help, i took mytraps off and just drane the tank daily
