the only thing (besides the fuse bar) on the pass fender well you need is the horn relay. it's metal cased kinda rectangular shaped, and was stamped with paint horn relay.

as far as idle issues with mine, my truck had them when I first got it. I ran the mechanical pump with no regulator and couldn't get the idle to my liking. then my stock pump died and I started running a 3 psi electric my idle cleaned up and I picked up a couple more mpg's.
