ohk, well i got my weber here today, and i have no idea what needs to be left/ or disconnected .
Also, what do you do to plug those exhaust holes off with??
so basically im just asking 2 questions,
1. What do you keep and what do you get rid of? pics of b4 and after???
2. How/What do you use to plug the exhaust holes.
I'm doing this right now, sooo any quick help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

Well pretty much all the emssion crap on pass side fender well. All those vacum lines can go just make sure you keep the one for the dissy and plug any extra ones. That wire harness can go just go through it and keep the wires for your wipers if you still have them. Do you have auto or manual tranny? As far as the exhaust holes most people put on a new header so I'm not sure what you can do. Maybe figure out the size hole and thread and get some plug for them. Maybe someone else wil chime in with more info and pics.

This is what I did with my three exhaust pipe. The one that goes to the top of the exhaust manifold got cut off and folded over where it bends to go under the dizzy, the the greatest solution, but it works and doesn't leak. The other two got unbolted down at the bottom of the exhaust manifold and removed. There is a support plate that hold these pipes, it can now be used as a block off plate on the exhaust manifold. There is four holes in this plate, the holes diagonally accross from each other are spaces perfectly to be used as a block off plate. Mazda gives you parts to use, LOL.
And yes, remove everything, vac. lives, wires, computer. If it's attached to the stock carb, it goes in the trash. I had a hard time believing this myself, but it's easy.
Here's my block off plate, inside green circle. Power steering hose is in the way of a good picture. It used to be attached where the square is.
My drawing here. If you were to use the green holes, cut the plate at an angle, then it fits alot better.
Sorry for being so long winded.

For the upper holes in the manifold you can use some 14x1.5 bolts available at any hardware store.

Never thought about trying to get the threaded portion out of the manifold. I tried to find some metric caps for them, I couldn't find any so that's when I decided to cut and fold the pipe. I think I'm going to the hardware store tommarrow.

On the manifold I plugged the holes with caps from a hydraulic and gasket place. Same thing I use to cap off cylinders and stuff.
