im thinkin of puttin another system on my truck and i hated when my lights would dim from all the power draining

kon you can get them at any of your local auto parts stores...
Some parts stores will have a couple 1 wire alternators in stock, but they are mostly used for custom applications...Hot rods, Show Vehicles, etc..

BTW, they aren't a direct bolt on!
They will fit, but the bracket will need a bit of modification...

I pay about $40 with a core for a stock 60 amp thats remanufactured. They come with test sheets, and most test out to 69 amps max. Thats plenty for most trucks.
The 100 amp usually test out to 89. I pay $80 for those with a core.
the bigger the better!!! and how much modification is there involved?
Not much at all!
I have seen all new brackets built to making the adjustment slide hole a bit larger...
