I've been looking on eBay for a few weeks. Tons of 2wd stuff, but no 4wd.
Anyone know where the aftermarket bumper on mikey's truck can be had?

Thanks for the link. I may have to go that route. That thing looks like poop on the truck pictured, though. They could have at least matched the reds.
Since mine will probably end up flat black it may not stick out as bad as the one in the auction picture.

It looks great on the lowered 2wd's, just not on the 4x4 in the eBay listing picture.
After seeing that one on eBay, I think I'll just build one out of steel plate. I always wanted to do that anyway.

I've actually seen one with a steel bumper here in town -- looks different.

It would definitely be a lot of work to build one, but I think the result may be worth it. Since this vehicle will retain the offroad stance, it makes sense to build a more offroad oriented bumper. I'm thinking something along the lines of the bumpers at (specific bumper pictured below).

That would be awesome.
By the way,we don't have enough 4x4 guys on here! Glad to see you on board. I love big mean lifted trucks as much as I love slammed trucks. Well,I personally like lifted import trucks more than domestics, just because how often do you see a lifted old skool Mazda or Nissan or Yota around?

Ha, I don't know if this truck will ever be considered "mean", but I guess everything is relative. Yeah, I was hoping for some 4x4 guys here, but I guess it's all the same when you get down to it. I've seen a lot of great fab work on this board.
I'm working on another project now that would be considered "mean", though:

oh btw, this was my half assed attempt at a prerunner. I just put 4x4 wheels on a stock 2wd lol. This truck was just my beater anyways. The tires cost me $75 more than what I paid for the truck itself LOL
