Are Door Handles Dead?

Whats peoples fasination with with shaved handles? I'm not entirely new to this whole minitruckin scene. I use to hang around with alot of guys in high school that were into minitruckin. But this is my first build. So i'm just getting my plan laid down still.

In my city shaved handles are a bullseye for cops. They know that car has had work done on it. And will pull you over and look over your car for the 3 hours till they find a fault. And rape you for it.

So i was gonna leave my handles on and replace them with some sweet chromies. Probably just tailgate handles. And still put on the door poppers to trip people out.

But does anyone else still like door handles? Or is everyones plan to eventually shave the doors handles?

i lik them. Once i get my suicide door kit im relocating my stock handles to the front of the door instead of shaving them.

My truck had shaved door handles when I bought it. In all honesty, it's just a pain in the butt. I had a car a few years back with shaved door handles, and it was a constant annoyance on that car too.

I have to replace the drivers door solenoid this weekend in fact... And the passenger side solenoid has never worked!

Looks cool and all... But most of the time its more hassle than I care to deal with.

I hate shaved doors but when ya get a truck with doors already shaved..... what ya gonna do

i love my shaved handlesive got the spal kit with 40lb solenoids and i havent had a problem yet

i like no handles but keep the driver door lock to open it all up.


here in Ont. Canada they cant just pull you for having a nice car or truck with a few mods (besides a big soup can muffler). there has to be reason or its harassment and you can tell them so and say i would like to be on my way NOW. i see it as if they are not writing you a ticket or putting you in cuffs, the tards in blue work for you and cant keep you waiting around to find flaws in your car or truck.

p.s. ask for their badge number and name when they ask for your info, it puts them in their place and they know if they screw around you have proof who it was and can call it in to file a complaint.

i like shaved but rather have the handles just in case ya cant get back into car if battery died to open solenoids
