My first car was a class 5 1600 Baja race car with windows popped in it. I drove that car all through high school.

My second VW was an absolutely perfect baby blue 63 squareback, with a 1835cc dual downdraft Webers. Empi 8 spokes, and slammed... Yeah I dig all types of cars, but I have a soft spot for VW's.

fenders turned out great.....everything you have done so far is impressive.

and i too am a veedub fan, have a choptop 66 currently in my garage waiting on me to finish the dually....ive had a 68 baja with a 1835 and dual kadrons. also had an original chenowth framed sandrail with 1914 and the same kadrons......man that thing flew however the 37 year old rails couldnt handle the abuse anymore lol

Never owned a VW but I wanna build one for my wife soon.....post up some more VW pics for us to drool over

i saw a couple of Baja's mentioned... I sold a pretty sick baja to fund buying my dually project.. it was fun! But I love my dually much more than that baja... Next one I build will be a little different.
