Very clean.. So what extra parts ya have sitting around?
john jones   +1y
Thanks.. Not a much left over as far as parts...

I noticed someone asked about my rear link set up... This is the first I have seen this style myself.. but.. I like it.. I haven't had any problems, and it seems a bit more simple to me.. It looked like it had a pan hard at one time.. then they added those extra upperlinks and got rid of it.. I gotta show you guys my tie rods.. I feel like I need to make em straight..

Got my inners all riveted in last night.. look good.. I am sure my engine and electronics and especially my air cleaner, will much happier in snow, and rain! and probably in general.. I am curious of how it will affect engine temps.. Seems it may channel the air over the engine and tranny better, instead of dispursing in the front wheel wells..

The links in question..

Looks damn good. Good job on the metal work. Really diggin at oval split and the micro too.

Well.. Here is what I came up with to get an air cleaner back on in the space I had with what I had! and I had just enough energy left to make it blue.. I should be able to install tomorrow! I moved everything together as tight as I could, trimmed down the boots, then the pipe couldn't make the turn.. so I used what I knew I could make make the turn.. Sheet metal!

a few shots I took today... Feels alot more "done" now.. Interior is mostly stock and clean.. I think I will leave it that way...

How long do you link the N2 gas is going to last? Or Are you just using a large nitrogen tank as your air tank?
rick ross   +1y
What kind of BS wussy winters do you guys have in Colorado? No snow on the ground and you can drive bagged truckS without valve heaters?!!! Hahahahaha I was asking about your front arms.
john jones   +1y
Thats as Nitrogen bottle alright..and it last me about 3 weeks give or take.. depends on how much you play with it. I like the clean air and consistent pressure of nitrogen. ..

I live in the high desert of colorado.. It's always cold.. but we don't get alot of snow..

Yes sir.. far as I know.. Devious suspension and BD all around.. She has ALOT of lift up front..

I've got these 22's I bought for my 85.. Thinking about painting them black and putting some tires on em.. I tried selling on CL and no bites.. I bet if they had tires and pics on a truck they might sell better.. wait.. do they make snow tires for 22's??? Anthracite grey would look sweet too.. I don't have the nuts to paint these 24's yet..

Love those peterbuilts!
