over heated 89 chevy with 454?

guy here is running a 4L80E with a gearvendor behind that .
when he's running the highest gear the engine runs 1500 rpm with a 4.10 rearend .
he bought it to have at least a little bit of fueleconomy , he's running a 502 with a vortec supercharger so he has torq-a-plenty
