over heated 89 chevy with 454?

well i have an 88 x cab ranger im staring to work on so anything for one of those. bags, valves, wheels, stereo equip, etc.

i think im going to sell the 454 and th400 out of it and just get me a 350 / 700r4 combo

if you think your engine is toast go through it and then put a gearvenders over underdrive on it if your only resone to swap it is for gas mileage
