Sweet looking good so far!! Did u narrow the frame or did you just take out the stock bend out at the firewall? Just asking since I noticed that the tranny cross member was way to long...LOL

Yeah, I just ran the frame rails straight. It will be nice to have the extra width in the rear. The frame, after the firewall, is 5 1/2" narrower than stock... so only 2 3/4" per side. Hopefully there will still be plenty of room for the exhaust and such.

Very little progress while waiting on parts to be cut and the axle to be returned from getting narrowed.

I narrowed the Porterbuilt tranny crossmember and then tapped the side of the frame rails to mount the new crossmember.Overlays for the mitered corners.
