Time for a new frame and link setup on the Dodge. This time im going to make the front crossmember and bag mounts, aswell as Im doing a parallel 4bar and panhard in the rear with bags and hopefully a small cantilever. Going to have sway bars front and rear. This time the running boards will lay out and im going to run 28.5" wide whites (3"). If time permits im going to chop (5") and body work it with some other body mods that I'll mention later when i get there, including custom inner fenders. Also will be doing a full interior. Hope to paint it Navy blue with a medium dark red interior, and flake the motor/trans medium red as well, as long as time permits...

Been working on this for a couple weeks so heres a re-cap from start to were im at now.

Started on the frame this afternoon got a fair share of it started.... hope to have the frame completely tacked up this weekend. Anyways heres the pictures from tonight.

Frame rails tapered... need to get some flat bar to cap'em...

Starting to get them in place...

Got the rear section of the frame together. Heres the pictures.

Got both sides gaps filled but i forgot to take a picture of the other one.

Well i had to move the rear section of the frame up, aswell as i got the rear tube notched for the exhaust tips to go under. Got the frame squared and picked up the steel for the A-arm crossmember(3x4x3/16). Next is some temp frame bracing and them on to finishing up the front frame horns.

heres the pictures...

Ive been working on the front mustang II crossmember.

Lower A-arm mounting holes sleeved...

Smoothed...

Spacers and ends tapered....

Welded...

Well I got the crossmember finished today. So here are the pictures.

Ends capped...

Rack and pinion notched for clearance...

Rack mounts....

Tacked in place...

Lower control arm spacers (i didnt make these) welded in place...

And all DONE!

Well i got the frame rails capped and the tie rod notches cut.

Smoothed...

Tie rod notch welded...

Smoothed...

Got the other tie rod notch done and the welded and smoothed. All the joints will get plated later. I got the front crossmember in and made the upper A-arm mounts still need to make some gussets for them.

Anyways here are the pictures...

Crossmember tacked in...

Lower arm bolted up...

The upper arm mounts...(forgot to take progression shots)
