i am one for speed but when it comes to speed on the water i ALWAYS stay with in my limits and if the water doesnt look like glass i dont ever get into the throttle.. now on a jet ski that a different story i cut up on waves and all but all out fast it has to be like glass for me.. and down here in panama in the pass heading out to the gulf on a good day you can get some 10-15 rollers coming thru and make for good air time on a jet ski,,. but in a boat i just roll over them, some of the bigger ciagarette boats here will hit them at almost full speed and just launch their self into the air and i am like there effn nuts...

Exactly.
Actually with all the scary ass wiring jobs I see where people have tried to do it themselves I'm way more worried about the boat catching fire than anything.

that can be true also but slam the water at 90 and let me see you get up and dance a jig.. atleast if it caught fire you should havea fire extinguisher on board if not take some water from the lake and put it out..

That is exactly why I had a profesional rewire my boat.

this is what mine should look like but I burnt a piston so instead of just fixing it I decied it needed a redo...well it's been apart for 2 years.....

i dont see why all you people are so scared to go fast on water lol. Ive been over 70 in more different boats than i can count on one hand. mostly offshore boats though. al though my grandpa has a 19ft flat bottom with a v-drive and a blown 496. thats a little more scary to ride in lol.
greaser nice boat btw.

Thanks.
70 in an off shore boat is different then 70 on a low freeboard boat. Kinda like 30 mph in a car aint that fast, but do 30 in a lil go cart, and it feels a lil bit different. LOL
Plus its a lil unnerving when at around 84 to 87 mph when my boat starts to do a lil rocking from side to side, and you know for a fact that the only part of the boat that is still in the water is the last 2 foot of the hull.
