damn you beat me to it i had my driver door done and i cant open my door 90 without cutting the door and reworking it. what hinges can i use so my door will open a full 90? is it deeper pockets that make it open further away from the cab?
The hinge Bobby made is good, they open all the way great. It is close to the B pillar when it is open all the way, but nothing rubs and none of the exterior paint was damaged. The hinges I have seen on mazda's all seem to be pretty close together anyways. His hinge is real thick, so I guess the single hinge worked out fine.
if i get enough people who want these hindges. i will start selling them for 150.00 plus shipping. dont know though.
Anybody else use stock latches or deadbolts?
Bobby, i would be interested in a set.
