Anybody have a How-To or some info on doing it? There is a place online that does it for about $200 but if its just painting them... I think I can do it for much less.
clean, red scotch brite, clean, mix single stage black with some clear and spray
I second that. Have done it on many cars. Its quick easy and looks good.
holly shit the third post doesn't contridit the first one i think this is a ssm first we need more people like tucky
VHT makes some stuff called Nightshades that is a transparent spray tint. Works great on tail lights.
CORECTION TO MY PREVIOUS POST im sorry the second one
most stereo shops sell the spray.. the more coats the darker the tint.
VHT.....never heard of it. Does that stand for something? Needing a little more info.
I seen it in autoparts stores also. VHT is just a brand name like Dupont
but, they have a flater look. fine if you like that. and a different option to black single stage in clear is black base in clear, then clear over it. adds a bit of scratch resistance since there is clear over the black. more buffable then too. how i had mine done, and how they are all done at my work.
