Well I just found out that before my Dad bought it that it had been pretty much just sitting for 9 years. It ran decent on the 100 mile trip home, but I worry about the engine and mechanicals.

i would change all the fluids and drive it up to a mechanica and have the once over... but i bet it will be okie dokie sounds like you got a good plan for the usage of it
